Registration

Please read the following information carefully before proceeding to the on-line registration system.

 

Conference Registration

 

EDAS Account:

  • In order to be able to register for the conference, you need to have an account on the on-line conference management system EDAS.

  • If you are an author of an accepted paper, then you should use the same account that you have used to submit your paper. 

  • If you don't have an EDAS account then follow the link EDAS NEW ACCOUNT to create an account.

  • If you already have an account but cannot remember your password then ask EDAS to email it to you by following the link EDAS PASSWORD REMINDER. Note that your user name is your email address.

Registration Periods:

There are two registration periods:

  • Early (Reduced Rate) Registration Period: before or on 1st of October, 2007

  • Late (Higher Rate) Registration Period: After 1st of October, 2007

Author Registration:

  • At least one author per paper must register and pay the non-student author registration fees (USD 600) by the Early Registration deadline (1st October 2007). NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED BEYOND THE DEADLINE. Failure to meet the deadline will result in an automatic withdrawal of the paper for presentation and publication.

  • The normal author registration fees (USD 600) can be used to cover up to two papers. Each additional paper beyond that will be charged an additional paper fee (USD 150 per paper).

Non-Author Registration:

  • For non-author registrations and other items, if payment is not received by the Early Registration deadline, then the higher Late Registration rate will be automatically applied. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

  • To be eligible for the IEEE member special registration rates, please record your membership number on EDAS. First, go to EDAS and log-in using your EDAS account. Then click on the "My Profile" menu item at the top of the page. You will see an "IEEE membership number" field where you need to enter your membership number and then click on the "Change Profile" button at the bottom of the page.

  • To be eligible for the special student rate, please record you student-status on EDAS.  First, go to EDAS and log-in using your EDAS account. Then click on the "My Profile" menu item at the top of the page. You will see a "Status" field, with a pull-down menu. Set your status to "Student" and then click on the "Change Profile" button at the bottom of the page.

  • If you register as a student then you will be asked to present evidence of your status (e.g. Student I.D. Card or Letter from your University) when you collect your registration pack at the on-site registration desk.

What is included with a registration?

  • Non-Student Registration fees include attendance of all sessions (but not tutorials), coffee breaks, 3 lunches, 1 banquet dinner ticket, and 1 CD-ROM proceedings.

  • Student registration fees do not include the banquet dinner ticket.

Tutorial Registration

 

  • There will be four half-day tutorials on 24 November 2007. More information about the tutorials can be found in the Tutorials section of the conference Web site.

  • Two tutorials (T1 and T2) will run in parallel in the morning and two tutorials (T3 and T4) will run in parallel in the afternoon. Thus, if you register for T1 then you should not register for T2, and so on.

  • There are limited places (25 only) available per tutorial. Thus, they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

  • The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel a given tutorial if the number of registrants for the tutorial is low. In case of such cancellation, tutorial registration fees will be refunded in full.

  • Items on the list below are to be picked up on-site. No shipping is possible.

  • Note the limited availability of items on this list. Thus, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

  • If an item is not available, then the fees will be refunded in full.

On-Line Registration and Payment

 

  • Click on the following link for ON-LINE REGISTRATION and then log-in using your EDAS user name and password.

  • You will be provided with a list of items (called events in EDAS) that you can register. Make your selection and press the "Register and Pay" button at the bottom of the page.

  • You will be transferred to a new page where you will be asked to choose the payment method and update your billing address

  • Two methods of payment will be accepted:

    • Credit Card, or

    • Bank Wire Transfer

  • If you are paying using credit card, then select "credit card" as the payment method, enter the credit card details and press the "Register and Pay" button at the bottom of the page.

  • If you are paying using bank wire transfer, then select "wire transfer" as the payment method, leave the credit card details blank, and press the "Register and Pay" button at the bottom of the page.

  • In case of bank wire transfer, and after you register on-line, make sure that you transfer the amount stated on the on-line invoice to the following account. Please note that you need to pay your own transfer charges in addition to the transferred amount.

  • Once you perform the bank wire transfer you need to send evidence of this transfer to our fax number +971 6 5611789 with attention to "ICSPC07 Secretariat". Alternatively you may send a scanned copy to our email  secretariat@icspc07.org. Please make sure that you indicate your EDAS ID number on the evidence of transfer.

  • You will receive a receipt for your payment at the registration desk on-site.

  • REFUND POLICY: A 50% processing fee will be applied before the 1st of October 2007. No refunds will be possible later.
