Visa Information

Please note that participants need to secure their own visa for entry into the UAE. The Organizing Committee can not assist in this matter

General Information

General information about how to get an entry permit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can be found on a number of web sites. Examples are:

Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing (Travel: Visa Regulations)

UAE Interact (UAE Travel: Touris: Visa Information)

Since entry permit rules change from time to time and without prior notice, please consult the nearest UAE embassy or consulate to you. In some cases, entry permits may require several weeks to be issued, hence please make sure to arrange your permits as early as possible.

AGCC Citizens

Citizens of the Arab Gulf Co-operation Council member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia) do not need a visa.

AGCC expatriate residents who have a high professional status such as business people, company managers or representatives, auditors, accountants, doctors, engineers, pharmacists or employees working in the public sector, their family members and drivers and personal staff sponsored by them are eligible for a visa upon arrival at the UAE. Please contact the nearest UAE embassy or consulate or the airline that you are using to fly to the UAE to check if your are eligible for this type of visa.
